Privacy and terms of use
Last updated: October 2026. This page explains, in simple words, what data BlocosIA Studio uses and why, in line with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13.709/2018).
1. Using it without signing in
Without an account, all processing happens in your browser. Projects are stored only on your own computer (the browser's local storage) and nothing is sent to our servers.
2. Camera and microphone
The video, hands, face, model training and sound extensions analyze the camera and microphone on the device itself. Live images and audio are neither recorded nor sent. Only what you put in the project is saved (for example, a photo you take to use as a costume, or the numeric examples of a trained model).
3. Google sign-in
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, photo and an account identifier (via Firebase Authentication). They are used to save your projects in the cloud (Cloud Firestore) and to show the author's name on shared projects. Your projects are private until you choose to share them. Shared projects are public in the Explore gallery and can be opened and copied by anyone, but only you can change or delete them.
4. Pro plan and payments
The Pro subscription (R$ 19.90/month) is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details: we only keep your Stripe customer ID and the subscription status (active, canceled, renewal date). You can cancel anytime in “Manage subscription”.
5. Bot protection
To prevent abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile when saving to the cloud. It may analyze technical browser signals to tell people from bots, according to Cloudflare's policy.
6. Cloud generative AI (optional)
Only for users who signed in with Google and chose to connect a Pollinations.ai account: the text you send to the text, image or voice AI is sent to that service to generate the response. Do not send personal data in those requests. Without that connection, the text AI runs in your browser. If you add your own API key (OpenAI, Google Gemini or Pollinations), it stays only in your browser, encrypted, and requests go straight from the browser to that provider, never through our servers.
7. Children and teenagers
The platform is made for educational use. We recommend that students under 13 use BlocosIA Studio without signing in, or with accounts provided and supervised by the school or their guardians. Generative AI has content filters, but no filter is perfect: supervise its use in class.
8. Your rights
You can delete your projects at any time in “My projects”. To request full deletion of your data or ask questions, write to iagolirapassos@gmail.com.
9. Terms of use
BlocosIA Studio is provided “as is”. Do not publish offensive or violent content, or content that infringes copyright or exposes other people's data. Projects that break these rules may be removed. This is an independent project, not affiliated with Scratch, MIT, LEGO, the Micro:bit Educational Foundation or Arduino; the trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.
