Objects with pictures and behaviors (like Construct)

Upload pictures from your computer, drop objects into the scene and stack ready-made behaviors (physics, jump, follow, orbit…), repeating as many as you like.

In the 2D World Editor

  1. Add the 2D World extension and click Open the 2D World Editor.
  2. In the Pictures and objects tool (image icon), click Upload picture and pick a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or SVG under 300 KB (up to 24 pictures per map).
  3. Click the picture, then click the map to place an object. You can place several of the same picture — they become a group with its name.
  4. Click an object already placed to open the panel: give it a name, set the size and tick Solid (bumps into it) or Danger (hurts).

Behaviors (can repeat)

In the same panel, under Behaviors, click + Add behavior. You can stack several on one object — even the same one twice, like in Construct 3 (e.g. two oscillate, one horizontal and one vertical). The ready-made groups:

  • Game essentials: move always, 8 directions (arrows/WASD), platformer (gravity + jump), bounce off walls, follow someone, spin.
  • Physics: physics body (falls and hits solid blocks, ramps and springs), pushable.
  • Effects and movement: pin, oscillate, orbit, drag with finger/mouse, blink/fade, wrap around the screen.
  • AI control: chase, flee, find a path (avoids walls) or watch (field of view).

In the blocks

Objects also respond to blocks in the 2D World category:

• mun_sprite_criar [FIGURA: ball, X: 0, Y: 120]
• mun_sprite_comport [OBJ: ball, COMP: quicar]

• mun_quando_tocar_obj [OBJ: paddle]
• mun_sprite_def [OBJ: ball, PROP: velocidade, VALOR: 4]
  • create object … at x: … y: … and … named … at x: … y: … make objects by code.
  • move object … to x: … y: …, x of object … / y of object … and on object … set … to … (speed X/Y, visible, solid, angle).
  • on object … add behavior … and remove all behaviors change behaviors during the game.
  • touching object … ?, is object … touching … ?, when I touch object … and how many objects … handle collisions and counting.

In the 3D World too

The 3D World extension has the same objects and behaviors. In the 3D World Editor, use the Objects tool (image icon): upload a picture (or pick Cube/Sphere) and click the world to place it. Click Select, then an object, to edit it and give it behaviors. Behaviors run on the ground (x‑z plane); the physics body falls in height (y) and lands on the terrain. The blocks live in the 3D World category (create/move object, x/y/z, behaviors, collisions).

See the example Ping-Pong 2D (objects and behaviors).
